This magic staff, or trident, is my first steampunk creation, which I’ve named Fluxcaliber. It is 79″ long and weighs 6.8 lbs. It features a 6″ quartz crystal, lots of brass gears taken from 5 or 6 grandfather clock movements, and an RGB LED to light up the crystal. The wood is actually PVC tubing carved and stained to look like wood grain. The 12v LED is powered by 3 UltraFire 18650 3.7 volt rechargeable li-ion batteries. The light can remain lit for approximately 5-6 hours.

‘Twas the month before Christmas and Santa was so clueless!
Naughty, one of Santa’s most loyal elves, once again found himself ignored, misunderstood, and out in the cold.
How could Santa be such a fool, so blind to the atrocities taking place all across the world?
As he peered out into the night, using his gift of magic sight, Naughty could see everything.
In all of the malls, on every street corner, these phony fat men were nothing but impostors!
There was only ONE true Santa. How dare these malicious men, with their polyester beards and pillow stuffed paunches, deceive all of the sweet, innocent children!
With Fluxcaliber, his trusty magic staff, in hand, Naughty began his long journey south to the evil scammers’ land.
“I will bring swift justice down upon these tricksters, these fraudsters, these swindlers!”, he thought, “Santa will be so proud!”
